In the modern world, many of us find ourselves constantly stressed, rushing from one task to another while juggling the pressures of home and work. Much of our time may be spent in a distracted, and fragmented state of mind, accompanied by a sense of frustration, disillusionment and unhappiness with life. We may also have a constant flow of thoughts and emotions racing around, much of which can be very negative towards ourselves and our world. Despite an increased use of medications, rates of stress, anxiety and depression are on the rise.
Hypnosis gives you the life skills and strategies to create calm in your life. Our nervous system does not differentiate between real and pretend stress. When we believe we are stressed, this is simply the result of one system (the stress response) doing too much and the other system (our natural relaxation) doing too little because many of us don’t have the skills to regulate stress/anxiety we become overwhelmed and stuck. Hypnosis techniques are the distillation of what many of the worlds leading doctors say will improve health and efficiency.

The hypnosis programme is conducted over an initial three-week period. However, it may be that more sessions will be needed. The three one-hour sessions are designed to bring about gradual change to your mindset – give you a set of “tools” that can help you recognize your stressors, and enable you to let go of things that don’t matter, allow your mind and body recovery time, and let you focus on what is really important in the present and future.
This is not a short-term fix – this is creating skills for life. If you use these new skills in your life you will develop lifetime habits enabling, you to be calmer and much more resilient to life event. I will give you a recording to listen to each day especially designed for your circumstances to reinforce your learning and to keep you calm when you have a build up of day to day stresses.
